SkyNorth Air is accepting resumes for the position of Beechcraft King Air Captain - Medevac Operations. Please see the minimum qualifications listed below: - 1500 hrs total flight time - 500 hrs Multi PIC - Transport Canada ATPL license - Transport Canada Group 1 IFR - Category 1 Medical - Ability to obtain a clear Manitoba Child Abuse Registry & Criminal Background check. - Candidates with pressurized turbine, Northern/bush experience, and two-crew operation with SOP's will be given preference. Air Ambulance flight crew operate on a one week on - one week off schedule from satellite bases within Manitoba. Fully equipped accommodations at Northern Satellite bases provided by SkyNorth. Arrangements/accommodations in Winnipeg required by employee while on duty. Employment requires on call, day/night and weekend availability as per the rotation above. Flight crew will be required to be available for ongoing training consistent with the operation (i.e. recurrent flight training, ground school, CPR, etc.). Direct Entry King Air Captains wage ranges from $90,000 /year to over $100,000 /year, increments increasing commensurate with experience, as per published pay scale. We currently have 24 pilots on staff, with our senior pilots earning over $200,000 in 2023. The increase in wages are the result of a milage incentive formula during a regular crew rotation. Qualified, successful candidates will be eligible for signing bonus. In addition, qualified candidates with a current and valid PPC on type will be eligible for type rating recognition bonus. All SkyNorth Captains are eligible for an annual retention bonus. Northern per diems and additional pay for extra days worked also in effect. Full Benefits package is available to all employees following completion of a probationary period. A company sponsored RRSP/DPSP plan is available to all employees as well. Captain Duties: General flight preparation and responsibilities consistent with the operation of an airplane, including but not limited to: assuming the responsibilities of pilot-in-command with all aspects related to the safe operation of an airplane, piloting of aircraft, aircraft grooming, elementary maintenance, aircraft fueling, aircraft record keeping, communication with company dispatch, and assisting and working together with AMS (Aeromedical Specialist) staff where required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a Medevac crew. Flight crew members are expected to be individually accountable and self-disciplined individuals who keep themselves knowledgeable with respect to their aircraft and all regulations concerning their operation.
